  • ABOUT HTP

This unbelievable product is all natural, 100% organic, non-toxic, non-abrasive and is water repellent. It will transform any petroleum spill into a fluffy dry substance on contact. You will eliminate messy and costly clean-up quickly and easily and … all you need is a broom, that's it!

People friendly… HTP does not contain any toxics which are harmful to humans. Because of HTP's powerful encapsulation ability, you will also eliminate the fear of a spill spreading or leaching. HTP doesn't stop there. HTP will even solidify an oil spill on water, in rainy conditions, on waterways, soils, grassy & swampy areas. Keep HTP on hand for your contingency planning of smaller and larger spills of petroleum liquids.

HTP can clean up oil spills and over 70 other toxic substances in any environment, including:

    | Water | Ice | Asphalt | Wetlands | Snow | Soil | Concrete | Canals |
    | Troughs | Marshlands | Swampy Environments | Rainy Conditions |
    | Spill Response Services | Highways | Motor Pools | Flight Lines |Fuel Stations |

Economical… HTP has the highest absorption rate over conventional absorbents. Just one 2 cubic ft. (approximately 18 lb.) bag will solidify up to 5 gallons of oil or petroleum based chemicals. HTP is landfillable, can be incinerated and has a high BTU value, leaving only a 3% ash residual.

Oil encapsulated in HTP is non-adhesive, keeping animals healthy and plants alive.

  • HTP ABSORBENT / CONTAINMENT SOCKS

    Proven and Trusted Since 1991

HTP Oil Containment & Absorbent Socks not only contains oil and fuel spills but also absorbs oil and fuels at the same time. Because of its capillary action HTP Socks will completely absorb what it contains. Up to 3 quarts of oil with a 4 ft. Sock and 7 quarts of oil with a 10 ft. Sock. No other Socks on the market can do what HTP does.

    HTP Sock Prevents Seepage

    Other Socks Don't

One four-foot, HTP filled sock will solidify three quarters of oil. On water, it will remain afloat, even when full of solidified oil. Each sock can be shaped into any position and will remain in place without any movement.

HTP Oil Containment Socks can be used around corners, in open areas, around drains, or anywhere else you need to keep a spill contained.

  • HTP VERSUS OTHER ABSORBENTS

HTP outperforms other popular spill absorbents.

    BASED ON 5 GALLON SPILL

    HTP

    CLAY GRANULARS

    ON ANY SURFACE
    IN ANY CONDITION

    ON DRY SURFACE ONLY
    IN LIMITED CONDITION

One 2 Cu. Ft. bag will solidify 5 gallons of diesel fuel

5/40 lb. bags of clay granulars will not solidify the diesel fuel.

Shovel up 240 lbs. of clay granulars. Lengthy and messy cleanup. 4 times more volume. More  labor. Leaching occurs.

Use more clay granulars. 4 times more volume. Disposal cost is higher.

Sweep up 5 gallon spill in a minutes with no oil leaching

Use less HTP. Less Disposal cost.

  • ORGANIC HTP

HTP is a 100% organic, environmentally safe, and water repellent product that will turn any petroleum spill into a fluffy dry substance on contact. You can just sweep it up! HTP is made from a peat moss fiber that is screened to a smooth consistency then dehydrated. This makes it a natural encapsulator of petroleum products.

No more messy, sopping piles made from other products. HTP saves time and money.

Because HTP completely encapsulates the spill, it cannot spread or leak back into the environment. See more advantages or watch our CNN demonstration.
